CTS-V Anti-Wheelhop Kit AWK001

Anybody that´s driven one of these cars knows about the serious wheelhop issues.This kit makes the cradle a fixed mount with machined polyurethane spacers and reinforces the cradle at the trailing arm mount. With this kit alone, wheelhop is reduced approximately 75% and ride quality is only slightly effected. Powdercoated silver vein.

CTS-V Pinion Support Brace

The differential is mounted to the rear cradle by soft rubber bushings. There are two bushings in the rear and only one in the front. This front bushing is responsible for maintaining pinion angle which is critical for u-joint life, launch consistency, and overall driveline efficiency

CTS-V Heavy Duty Rear Toe Rods

As you can tell by this comparison of the OE toe rod vs. our heavy duty replacements - there is no comparison. The toe rod is responsible for maintaining toe settings of the the rear wheels similar to tie rod ends on the front end. This ensures that the wheels remain set to a fixed position, not erratically pointing inward or outward under loading. The factory rods are made from 1/2" material and use soft rubber bushings at the mounting points. CTS-V Trailing Arms

BMR trailing arms are similar in design to the factory arms but are made from larger diameter, heavier gauge tubing and use heavy duty QA1 spherical bearings in the front mount instead of the soft rubber factory bushing. Powdercoated silver vein.

BMR Carbon Fiber Diveshaft

The factory shaft is a two-piece design that uses a rubber joint in the front and a CV joint in the rear. Both of these are rated for roughly 450RWHP (as we found out in our Project GTO test car that uses a similar setup). Our heavy duty driveshaft is made from 3.25" diameter carbon fiber with heavy duty 1350 series forged u-joints. The supplied rear yoke adaptor converts the CV pinion flange on the differential to a more traditional and stronger 1350 series u-joint. This rear yoke is machined from 4340 billet then hardened and black oxide coated. The front yoke is available with either a Strange billet yoke or a cryogenically treated cast yoke. The whole unit is rated for 800+ RWHP. The only modification required to the car is the elimination of the factory resonators which are too bulky for use with the larger diameter shaft
